MFA with Google Authenticator

MFA with Google Authenticator

What is the Google Authenticator ?
Quick answer, it's an app on your phone that has a rotating verification code to login to a site that supports it.
Long answer, using a third point of confirming you are who you are has become the norm for todays online security requirements. With more and more demand for alternate methods of accessing our Triage Logic Call Center application, google authenticator is commonly used and is easy to set up.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE
STEP 1 : Download Google Authenticator for iOS or Android.
STEP 2 : While logged into our system, go to your user profile by clicking on the tab with your Username.

STEP 3 : Click on "Manage Password or MFA".       (if this button is not there, this feature is not available in your release)

FIRST TIME SETUP
STEP 4: If you have not yet set up Google Auth with this site, you will see a QR CODE and a place to "Enter the Current Code".

STEP 5 : Open your google authenticator and click on the PLUS icon (show image).
STEP 6 : It'll open your camera, point the camera to the QR code on the screen. It should detect it.
STEP 4b : if you already had a previous QR code, we need to delete the existing code and create a new one. DELETE QR CODE
STEP 7 : Confirm existing code on the screen & SAVE.   - ALL DONE.
Now try it out.
Log out of the Triage Logic Call Center in the top right. Log back in with your user and password. Next MFA screen will now have the GOOGLE AUTHENTICATOR option available. Click it.
Open your google authenticator (in case you closed it by now).
Enter the code you see on the app in the call center site question box.
If you encounter issues on logging in with this method, please first try delete your existing QR Code (reference STEP 4b), and create a new one in your app. If you're still having issues, please contact support to assist in getting your account in by emailing us support@triagelogic.com
Please allow about 2 business days to get back in touch with you to resolve the issue.
